Yes, yes, yes. I just turned 18! Most people kasi hindi naniniwala na ang bata ko pa. Mukha akong matanda, gano’n? Sige, sa inyo na birth certificate ko!

So, obviously, this blog is about my birthday. I posted last August 19 in Facebook and Instagram and asked my friends and followers to ask me anything for my birthday blog. So, I’m going to be answering the questions here. Let’s start with the questions from Facebook, since kaunti lang naman dahil hindi ako famous!

        First, from my cousin, Cheska Asuncion, “Anong wish mo sa birthday mo, ung (‘yung) para sa sarili mo?”

        I am not used to wishing something for myself. It’s always for my friends and family. But, okay, for myself… I wish to become a better person every day, may God always allow me to see the good in people, and lastly, I wish to achieve all the dreams I always work hard for.

        Ang drama! Next, from my honey,  Angelyn Dela Cruz, “BAKIT NAPAKAGANDA KO?”

        Walang kwenta pero sige napakaganda mo, wala ng bakit.

        Next, from my bhebs, Isay David, “Sana all sexy po. How to be u (you) po? Notice me lodi.”

        Isay talaga! HAHAHA How to be me? You won’t love it. Just be you nalang. HAHAHA.

        That’s all from Facebook, let’s proceed with the Instagram questions.

        First from my co-JSL, @theresamaribulfa, “Anong height mo? Hahahaha.”

        5’4 sis. Pero sana tumangkad pa, para pwedeng-pwede sa pageant!

        Another question from @theresamaribulfa, “Kung bibigyan ka ng pagkakataon na ma-trap, sino sa MGA JBOYS ang gusto mong makasama?”

Talagang all caps ‘yung “mga”, e. Alam na alam na hindi loyal mga JSLs. HAHAHA. Kung mata-trap ako, si Vincentius Theron at Antonius Jr. ang gusto kong makasama! Period.

        Next, from my influencer friend, @kaeeruh, “Sino Jboy mo?”

Kung magpapaka-loyal ako, si Vincentius Theron Hidalgo talaga. He will let his name be ruined just for Eury. Ang dami pang dahilan. Basta mahal ko siya.

        Next, from one of the bunaks, @kaymacatuno, “Greatest life lesson?”

For me the greatest life lesson is summed up by this quotation, “Don’t treat people as bad as they are, treat them as good as you are”. I don’t know but this can be applied to all. No matter how bad and hurtful someone caused you, whether they wronged you, throw shades at you, never ever take revenge on them. Instead, pray for them, clap for their success, be happy with their achievements, and treat them with so much kindness. In the end, they will realize that they are pitiful because all you do for them is good and in return, they do you bad. Always choose to do good even in challenging and tough times.

        Wala na nag-SONA na. HAHAHA. Next, from my influencer friend, @pyrdeity, “Anong unang ginagawa mo pagkagising sa umaga?”

I said in my Instagram story that it is very stressing because I am always awaken by my brother telling me that he will borrow my phone because he wants to watch Youtube videos. So the first thing I do when I wake up is complain for waking me up!

        Sorry, bunso. HAHAHA. May dinagdag pa pala si @pyrdeity, “Not a question pero ang ganda mo kaya sana ‘wag kang tumigil in pursuing your dreams.”

I’m speechless! Thank you so much. I will never stop pursuing what I love.

        Next from @atienzaaa23, “Bakit napaka *fire emoji* mo?”

I am guessing that it means bakit ang hot ko? Baka may mali lang sa mata mo! HAHAHA.

        Next question from my barkada, @kavinlacsina, “Ur (Your) thought about online classes.”

I said in my story that I miss going to school but #AcademicFreezeNow. Whether it’s online or face to face, ayaw ko pa rin. Thoughts about online class? IT IS NOT EFFECTIVE. Face to face nga minsan hindi na natututo ang mga estudyante, sa online class pa kaya? It is a waste of time. I always believe that no matter how long it will take, we should always and only take quality education to become high-caliber and globally competitive citizens. Hindi ‘yung para lang masabi na nag-aral ka.

        Gigil ako, besh. Another question from @kavinlacsina, “Message to those students na nag-stop this SY bcoz (because) of pandemic.”

I said in my Instagram story that it is totally okay. Don’t be pressured. You are not left behind. You have all the time on Earth. Totoo naman. Doon sa mga nag-decide na mag-aral, let them. Kung sa tingin mo hindi mo kaya to enrol this school year, then don’t. I’ll tell you one of my favorite quotes from Confucius, “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” Bumagal ka sa pag-abot mo ng dreams mo because you chose not to enrol, but do not stop achieving it! Kaya!

        Last question from @kavinlacsina (HAHAHA SUKI!), “Most embarrassing moment?”

Ngayon na naalala ko, nahihiya ulit ako! Ang kaunti palang ng nasabihan ko nito, my mother and some friends. Ganito ‘yon, birthday ng Lola ng boyfriend ko. Kakain silang family sa Bale Capampangan (not sure with the name). Eat all you can doon. Edi sinama ako. Doon ATA, plate binabayaran no. Basta gets niyo na ‘yon. So para mabilis, tapos na kami kumain, kwentuhan nalang. Biglang may lumapit na staff sa akin kasi raw sabi nung kabilang table, kumuha ako sa plato nila. Like seriously? Pinagbintangan ako! First time kong sumama sa family nila tapos gano’n. HUHU. Kinausap naman ng Tita ng boyfriend ko ‘yung nambintang. Naging okay naman. I can still remember his face. Pinatawad ko na siya kasi matanda na, baka malabo lang ‘yung mata. Still, it is not right to wrongly accuse someone without any proof because you can embarrass them and worst, you can ruin their name and credibility. MATAKAW LANG AKO PERO ‘DI NAMAN AKO NANGUNGUHA NG PLATE! HAHAHAHA.

    Now, alam niyo na ang most embarrassing moment in my life! Next, from my influencer friend, @jerseygan, “Ideal cake?”

        Next question from another influencer friend, @_angelimnida, “Ano po skin care n’yo?”

I answered in my Instagram story that it is only 3 easy steps. First, I wash my face with cold water. Next, I cleanse it with walang kamatayang Eskinol. Lastly, I put Skin White in the shade Light Beige. And it’s done!

        Next, from my influencer friend, @ashleng.153, “Hm, pinaka-memorable na bonding with your family po?”

Lagi akong sa bahay kaya lagi kong kasama family ko. Pero para sa akin, ang pinaka-memorable bonding is ‘yung pinaka-simple. Those moments na nasa bahay kami lahat, nanonood ng TV at naglolokohan. So much laughter. So much love.

        Next, from another influencer friend, @welaaapotz, “How’s life ate?”

In my story, I said that it is not easy, but it is worth living. Life will throw you all the hardships it has to offer. It will teach you to be strong. But, you will never choose to stop living it because amidst the hardships, it is full of love and hope. That’s what makes it worth living.

        Next from my bebe, @cau.jie, “Fave things to do?”

Sabi ko, mga kaartehan! Dressing up and doing photoshoots. HAHAHA on a serious note, my other fave things to do are reading, writing and journaling.

        Another question from @cau.jie, “Bakit ang pretty niyo poooo hihi?”

Uulitin ko lang sagot ko, idol kasi kita, be! Ganda mo hahaha.

        Next, from my influencer friend, @_jannabnn, “Any regrets in life?”

Ang dami pero sa pageant nalang sasabihin ko. My answers are not great because my nervousness is swallowing me. After answering, I always say, “I could have answered better than that!” That is why I am working with this kaba of mine.

        Next, from another influencer friend, @_feyiee, “Age po?”

18 na po ako. Err.

        Another question from @_jannabnn, “What is your greatest weakness?”

As of the moment, overthinking is my greatest weakness. But I am working on it by praying and positive-thinking. I can say that I handle my weaknesses well because I turn them into my strength. I don’t have a good voice, I am sintunado, that WAS my weakness. But I turned it to my strength by using it to make other people laugh and to brighten their day (Kahit minsan nagiging makulimlim). In other situation where I can’t turn my weakness into strength, I just accept and love it so that other people can’t use it against me.

        Last question from @reinealmiron, “Pinaka-memorable na bonding na kasama ang mga pinsan mo?”

She’s pertaining to my cousins in mother side. I always consider the simplest bondings as the most memorable ones. Kapag umuuwi kami lahat sa bahay, at nagkikita-kita. Lagi namang masaya kasi nakakatawa sila.

        There you go! We are done with the question and answer portion.

        It is really saddening not being able to celebrate my birthday. I mean we can celebrate it naman but not the planned one. May program sana sa gabi. Ang ganda ko sana. CHAR. HAHAHA.

        Pero I am happy naman to be able to spend my birthday with my family. We are together, we are safe, and we have food to eat. That’s enough for me.

        In my 18th birthday, I wish that this pandemic will end soon, sana magka-vaccine na. Sana effective ang Sputnik V ng Russia and other vaccines na fino-formulate. Please, Lord. Sana laging safe and healthy ang mga mahal ko sa buhay. I wish the everything will be back to normal.

        THANK YOU FOR THIS LIFE, LORD. It is not perfect but if I will be given a chance to live again in my next life, I will choose this kind of life and never change anything about it.
