Finally, I'm Now a Certified Bookkeeper!
FINALLY, I’M NOW A CERTIFIED
BOOKKEEPER!
The long wait is over! Thirteenth
of November year 2019, I got the first title on my name.
Elyca-wil B. Pangilinan, CB
Oh, goodness! Hello, readers! So, you
have already read it, I am now a Certified Bookkeeper. KYAH! PAANO KUMALMA???
HAHAHA. For those of you who don’t know what CB is, it is the title you’ll get
after taking the Bookkeeping National Certificate III (NCIII) Exam. What is the
importance of this? Disclaimer: I did not do any research so baka may masabi
ako na hindi legit. But, what I’ll tell you are based on what our teacher told
us. If I remember it correctly, most takers of this exam are those people who
have something to do with Accountancy, Business and Management. If you
graduated with a degree of BS Accountancy and you have this certification, you
will be able to work abroad even though you are not a Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) yet.
Additional pala, this kind of exam is under TESDA, TVL and ABM track ng Senior
High School ang may mga exams na ganito.
HOY TAMA NA NGA SA PAGBIBIGAY NG MGA
INFORMATIONS. BAKA MALI MALI PA MGA PINAGSASABI KO. GUYS, ONCE AGAIN, I AM NOT
A RELIABLE SOURCE. HAHAHA SA MGA LESSONS LANG SA BUHAY NIYO KO MAAASAHAN PERO
SA MGA BAGAY NA GANITO, AY NAKO, IT’S A NO FOR ME. HAHAHA
So, share ko na experience ko sa pag-take
ng CB exam sa inyo. Before I continue, I am not writing this to brag. I am
writing this to inspire. Basta I am sure after this, may matututunan kayo. I
guarantee you. LOL.
This exam was supposed to be taken last
April but our teacher got busy so it got moved to October 23, 2019. And,
unfortunately, the assessor got sick so the exam got postponed again. I was
super annoyed that time. Paano ba naman kasi, nagreview na ako tapos
pagka-online ko sa messenger, nalaman kong hindi pala tuloy. HAYS. So there,
after a long time of waiting, our examination was scheduled on November 13,
2019. YES, NATULOY SIYA.
So at 7:30 AM, we are already in DHVSU
(School ko). My classmates and I went to the Research Center/Office. Pagpasok
namin sa testing area, super lamig, besh! Todo jacket kami. Feeling
magba-Baguio lang gano’n. HAHAHA Guys, I am sorry. I am not really good when it
comes to narration. Bear with me. Oh, ‘yun. We started the exam and I am also
the first one to finish the exam. Since my desk is in front of the table of the
assessor, the Dean of College of Business Studies, Mr. Luisito, I was so
nervous when I saw him checking my paper. Nakahinga lang ako ng maluwag ng
check lahat ng journal entry ko. Kapag kasi may mali doon, mali na buong ginawa
mo, so meaning, there is a high chance for me to fail. But, I managed to get a
96.5% passing rate. Thank you, Lord!
I was also so happy when the 10 of us
who took the exam all passed. Ten out of ten, readers. Galing, ‘no? HAHAHA
char.
Let’s stop with the narration, I really
suck at that. I wrote this blog to inspire you that you must work hard when it
comes to achieving your goal. Never settle for less. Always aim for greater
heights, for greater things. It’s true that life is too short and you only
live once, so make the most out of it. Live your life to the fullest. We can
be tired and exhausted in our journey of chasing our dreams, we can rest, but
we must never stop, even though there are a lot of hindrances and tons of
stopovers and delays.
Dream big. And, our dreams must not stay
as dreams. As what our Parish priest said, “Ang taong walang pangarap ay
maihahalintulad sa patay, humihinga lang pero parang hindi nabubuhay.” I
agree with him. What is the essence of being alive if we don’t have dreams, if
we lack aspirations, and if we don’t have any desires?
REMEMBER: Live for your dreams,
don’t live just to meet the fucking expectations of the people around you. LIVE
FOR YOURSELF.
Okay. That’s it. I have the urge to
write this blog but I don’t know if I said my points chronologically. One thing
is for sure, WE MUST DREAM AND WE MUST DO EVERYTHING TO ACHIEVE THOSE DREAMS. I
forgot some of the details I want to write here because I planned to write this
on the evening of my CB exam. But I don’t know what is the reason why it took
me until tonight finishing it. I hope you get something from this blog. Thank
you for today. I had fun writing this. I hope you also have fun reading. Have a
nice day! ‘Til the next blog. Mwa.
